BPD in the Community: Kids from Junior Police Academy Stop by the BPD’s K-9 Unit

BPD in the Community: Kids from Junior Police Academy Stop by the BPD’s K-9 Unit: Earlier today, Friday, July 20, 2018, kids from Districts E-5 (West Roxbury/Roslindale) and E-18 (Hyde Park) attending the Boston Police Athletic/Activities League (PAL) stopped by the BPD’s K-9 Unit to get an up close and personal look at how BPD K-9 Officers work with and train their trusted furry, four-legged partners. As you can see by the photos, the kids had a blast. And, Officers Ray Ramirez and Cornell Patterson tell us the kids asked a ton of interesting and intriguing questions and, when it came to behavior, our officers say the kids could not have been nicer or better behaved. As always, special thanks to Boston PAL for making the Junior Police Academy one of the best summer camps around while also providing our officers yet another opportunity to build trust and connect with our city’s young people.
