Join Us Tomorrow (August 12, 2018) for the 3rd Annual Bike Ride for Peace in Dorchester!!!


BIKE RIDE FOR PEACE: The 3rd Annual Bike Ride for Peace is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, August 12, 2018, and the men and women of the Boston Police Department would love to see you there!!! The ride, which starts at 1:00pm, begins and ends at the Franklin Park Zoo's front entrance. 50 free helmets will be given to the first 50 kids who show up for the ride. Riders of all ages are encouraged to attend. As the name suggests, the Bike Ride for Peace is all about promoting peace, unity and togetherness in our community. Together we make our city safer and the Ride for Peace gives us a chance to send that message while coming together for a really good cause. As for the ride itself, the ride will travel approximately 6.8 miles in total distance and will travel along the planned route listed below:   

  • Begin at Franklin Park Zoo
  • Blue Hill Ave to Morton Street
  • Left on Norfolk Street
  • Right on Talbot Ave
  • Left on Washington Street
  • Right on Harvard Street
  • Left on Geneva Ave
  • Geneva Ave to Blue Hill Ave
  • Right on Blue Hill Ave to Warren Street
  • Warren St to MLK Boulevard
  • Left on Humboldt Ave to Seaver Street
  • Left on Seaver Street to Blue Hill Ave
  • Finish at Franklin Park Zoo
