UPDATE: Victim Identified in Death Investigation in the Area of 27 Deering Road in Mattapan

Victim Identified in Death Investigation in the area of 27 Deering Road in Mattapan: At about 9:48 a.m., on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 27 Deering Road in Mattapan. On arrival, officers located three adult male victims, believed to be in their twenties, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.  The victim has since been identified as Yashua Amado, 29, of Mattapan. The remaining two victims were transported to area hospitals.  Their identifications will not be released.
