Earlier today, on Thursday August 2, 2018, an officer assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) located a dark grey, male, mixed breed dog in the area of Adams Street and East Street in Dorchester. The dog was wearing a collar and a leash at the time he was found but did not have any identifying tags on him. The officer was able to coax his new canine companion to jump in his cruiser to accompany him back to the district station where he was turned over to Animal Control. Anyone with information that may prove helpful is urged to contact the Boston Animal Care and Control Shelter in Roslindale at (617) 635-1800.
