BPD in the Community: Family Fun Day Joe Moakley Park

On Saturday, September 22, 2018, The Boston Police Foundation hosted a Family Fun Day at Joe Moakley Park. The Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association and Detectives Benevolent Society sparked up the grills and cooked all the hot dogs, burgers, and chicken you could eat. The kids had an enjoyable time running in and out of the balloon inflated jumpy house while the Bruins “BFIT” staff was on hand to teach them a few tricks with hockey sticks and explained how important it is to stay fit. The Boston Police and The Transit Police enjoyed a friendly game of baseball and the BPD ice-cream truck handed out ice-cream for those who wanted to indulge in a sweet refreshing dessert!
