BPD in the Community: BPD Community Service Officers Enjoy Weekly Tennis Match with Local Seniors in South Boston

BPD in the Community: Earlier today, on Thursday September 27, 2018, Community Service Officers assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) stopped by the Sportsmen's Tennis and Enrichment Center in Dorchester for their weekly get together with area tennis league seniors. The program has been up and running for the past year with players from the neighborhood meeting up for an hour every Thursday morning to get some exercise while sharing a few laughs on the court. This program has been made possible through a partnership with the Sportsmen’s Tennis and Enrichment Center and an equipment grant from the United States Tennis Association of New England. Special thanks to District C-6 Commander, Captain Joseph Boyle, Officer Frank Williams and Ms. Carol Sullivan for their continued support of this wonderful community program.
