Keeping Boston Safe: Officers Arrest One, Recover Guns and Drugs Following Search Warrant Execution in Dorchester

 

At about 7:30 AM on Thursday, September 6, 2018, officers assigned to the Fugitive Unit assisted by Massachusetts State Police, made a warrant arrest in the 300 block of Geneva Avenue in Dorchester. Officers arrested a 33-year-old male of Dorchester. Following the arrest, detectives obtained a search warrant of the suspect’s residence. The execution of the search warrant took place at about 1:00 PM on September 6, 2018. As a result of the search warrant, officers were able to recover a .30 caliber Universal Firearms Corp semi-automatic rifle, a .22 caliber Winchester bolt action rifle, a stolen Glock 19 firearm, multiple rounds of live ammunition and several plastic bags containing a white powder believed to be cocaine.
