Daily Dose of Great Police Work: Two Male Juveniles Arrested and Charged with Armed Robbery in Roxbury

 

DAILY DOSE OF GREAT POLICE WORK: At about 3:31 PM on Saturday, September 8th, 2018, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury), responded to a call for an armed robbery in the area of Whiting Street and Winthrop Street, Roxbury.  Upon arrival, officers observed two male suspects fitting the description that was given out by the operations dispatcher. After further investigation it was revealed that the two teens approached a victim and stole his bicycle. One suspect reached into his waistband and motioned as if he had a weapon, although no weapon was shown. Both suspects were positively identified, placed under arrest and charged with Delinquent to wit: Armed Robbery and Delinquent to wit: Buying, Receiving or Concealing Stolen Goods.

Both suspects will be arraigned in Boston Juvenile District Court.
