At about 9:54 AM on Sunday, February 3, 2019, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 60 Goodale Road in Mattapan. On arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced at the scene. Officers were able to identify the suspect who was located and taken into custody.
Officers arrested John Patterson, 29-years-old, of Peabody. Patterson is charged with Murder and is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
