Keeping Boston Safe: Search Warrant Leads to the Recovery of a Gun, Drugs and Cash in Dorchester

Keeping Boston Safe: As a result of ongoing efforts to stem the flow and sale of illegal narcotics in the city of Boston, on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, members of both the District C-6 (South Boston) and District B-2 (Roxbury) Drug Control Units executed a search warrant in the area of 80 Ceylon Street in Dorchester. As a result of the search, officers were able to discover and recover approximately 180 oxycodone pills, 245 grams of cocaine, 265 grams of fentanyl, multiple rounds of ammunition, a loaded .32 caliber revolver and $7,000 in U.S. Currency. Additionally, officers arrested Jose Perez, 40, of Brockton and charged him with the Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Trafficking Class A (Fentanyl) and Class B (Cocaine) Drugs. He will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
