Making a Difference: Commissioner Gross Welcomes Honorary K-9 Officer Caleb Anderson to BPD Headquarters

MAKING A DIFFERENCE: Last week, on Wednesday April 17, 2019, the men and women of the Boston Police Department welcomed 9-year-old Caleb Anderson, who is visiting from Indiana while receiving care and treatment at an area hospital. Commissioner Gross gave Caleb and his mother a private tour of his office and arranged a meet and greet with members of the BPD SWAT Team. As a special surprise, since Caleb aspires to become a K-9 Officer when he grows up, members of the BPD K-9 Unit put on a demonstration while making Caleb an honorary member of their team. We thank Caleb and his mother for taking the time to visit with us as we wish them the very best of health and happiness moving forward.
