Suspect in Custody After Breaking and Entering at Roxbury Convenience Store

 

At about 4:30 PM on Tuesday April 30, 2019, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) made an onsite warrant arrest of Trevor Walthall, 53, of Mattapan while on patrol in the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Clifford Street in Roxbury. At the time of his arrest, the officers were aware that the suspect was wanted on several outstanding warrants stemming from a prior breaking and entering incident at a convenience store located at 338 Warren Street in Roxbury. During the initial incident, which occurred at about 1:00 AM on Tuesday April 23, 2019, the suspect was observed on security video breaking a front door lock as he gained entry to the store where he caused damage to a cash register before fleeing the area with an undisclosed amount of cash, tobacco products, a 50” inch television and other items of value. The suspect will be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of Breaking and Entering, Unarmed Burglary, Larceny from a Building and Vandalism.
