Investigation Update: One Arrested for Homicide in the area of 95 Millet Street in Dorchester

Investigation Update: At about 3:00 AM on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, detectives assigned to the Homicide Unit made an arrest in Brockton for a homicide in the area of 95 Millet Street in Dorchester. Officers arrested Shakeem McNeill, 28-years-old, of Brockton. McNeill is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court for Murder. 

The facts and circumstances of the original incident are as follows: At about 8:42 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 95 Millet Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers observed an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital by Boston EMS, where he was later pronounced deceased.
