Members of the Boston Police Department’s Research and Development Team in partnership with SafetyNet have allocated city and grant funds to provide SafetyNet bracelets to city residents. SafetyNet is a GPS based service that allows families to quickly locate loved ones afflicted with Dementia, Autism, Alzheimer’s and other cognitive disorders who have a tendency to wander. Effectively used by Boston Police Officers who have undergone in-depth training, SafetyNet is an unparalleled resource when it comes to effectively communicating with and locating residents who have gone missing.

For enrollment information please call the SafetyNet Customer Service Center at (877) 434-6384 and ask for the BPD funded transmitter.
