Great Work Recognized: Three BPD Women Awarded for their Service at 2019 Spirit of MAWLE Award Ceremony

The Spirit of MAWLE (Massachusetts Association of Women in Law Enforcement) Awards Ceremony was held last night, May 30, 2019 at Babson College, Knight Auditorium in Wellesley, MA. The Spirit of MAWLE Awards are presented to women in law enforcement who have gone above and beyond in the areas of leadership, mentoring, courage, community service, performance, and civilian achievement. The awards ceremony celebrates the outstanding accomplishments of these women. The BPD is proud to announce that the following Boston Police officer and civilians were honored with special recognition awards and certificates:

  • Detective Neva Coakley-Grice (Mentoring Award)

  • Civilian Laura Dickerson (Civilian Achievement Award)

  • Civilian Catia Pina (Special Recognition)
