BPD Investigators Seek Public's Help in Effort to Locate Murder Suspect Wanted in Connection to Death Investigation in the area of 66 Milton Avenue in Dorchester

Investigation Update: The Boston Police Department is seeking the public's help in an effort to locate murder suspect wanted in connection to ongoing death investigation in the area of 66 Milton Avenue in Dorchester. Boston Police Detectives have identified the above pictured suspect wanted in connection to a homicide that occurred last month in Dorchester. Ricardo Jamesy Washington, 24, of Roxbury, is wanted on an outstanding warrant sought out of Dorchester District Court on charges of Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

The original facts and circumstances surrounding the incident are as follows:

At about 10:05 AM on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of Milton Avenue in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located an adult male victim inside a residence suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim, suffering life threatening injuries, was pronounced non-viable on scene. The victim was later identified as Donell Davis, 24-years-old, of Boston.
