At about 12:27 AM on Saturday June 22, 2019, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) arrested Dorian Henriquez, 32, of Roxbury, on firearm related charges after responding to a call for a person with a gun in the area of 225 Blue Hill Avenue in Roxbury. During the initial incident, the suspect had been observed with a handgun during a physical altercation with an adult male victim inside the address. Officers stopped the suspect as he attempted to leave the area on foot at which time they performed a pat frisk and safely recovered a loaded .380 Keltec handgun from the front pocket of the suspect’s hooded sweatshirt. The suspect was then placed in custody without incident. It was later determined that the firearm had previously been reported stolen in New Hampshire. The suspect will appear in Roxbury District Court on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Carrying a Loaded Firearm, Assault and Battery and Receiving Stolen Property.
