Suspect Arrested in Homicide in the area of 120 Huntington Avenue in the South End

 

HOMICIDE ARREST: At about 10:58 AM, on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 120 Huntington Avenue in the South End. On arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Officers on scene received information that the suspect had fled the scene in a taxi cab. Quick response from a detail officer in the area allowed officers to locate the taxi cab and subsequently the suspect who was placed under arrest in the area of 1 Ring Road in the Back Bay.

Officers arrested Phillip Foy, 34-years-old, of Pawtucket. Foy is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on charges of Murder, Armed Carjacking and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
