UPDATE: Arrest Made in Connection to Homicide Investigation from July 2019 in the area 27 Rowe Street in Roslindale

UPDATE:  Earlier today, at about 12:45 PM, on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, officers assigned to the Fugitive Apprehension Unit arrested Anderson Lugo, 23, of Norwood in the area of Morton Street and Lorna Road in Dorchester. At the time of his arrest, the suspect was placed in custody pursuant to several outstanding warrants unrelated to the ongoing homicide investigation. The suspect was subsequently interviewed by BPD Homicide Detectives and charged with Murder. The suspect is scheduled to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court on Thursday, October 10, 2019.

The original facts and circumstances surrounding the incident are as follows: At about 3:10 PM, on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, officers from District E-5 (West Roxbury) responded to an outside scene for a person shot in the area of 27 Rowe Street in Roslindale. On arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim was later identified as Daniel Vo, 24, of Boston.
