Community Alert: BPD Seeks Public’s Assistance in Identifying a Vehicle of Interest in Connection to a Fatal Hit and Run in the Area of 99 Alford Street in Charlestown

Community Alert: The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in an effort to identify the motor vehicle in the above images as it relates to an ongoing fatal hit and run investigation.

The original facts and circumstances surrounding the incident are as follows: At about 11:24 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2019, officers assigned to District A-15 (Charlestown) responded to a radio call to assist Everett PD in the area of 99 Alford Street in Charlestown. This area is close to the line dividing Boston and Everett. On arrival, officers were notified by Boston EMS that the victim, an adult male, had suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At the time of the incident, the above-pictured motor vehicle was observed travelling on Alford Street in the direction of Everett. The vehicle is described as a white colored Ford F150 pickup with plywood fencing on the truck bed. The motor vehicle may possible have damage to the front driver’s side bumper, grill, and headlight assembly.

The vehicle was last observed entering the rotary in the area of Broadway and Main Street in Everett.
