Juvenile Male Arrested with Loaded Firearm and Drugs

At about 4:50 PM on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) made an on-site firearm arrest while patrolling the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Woolson Street.  

Officers observed an individual that had an active warrant for his arrest out of Suffolk County Juvenile Court. The 17-year-old, juvenile male, of Mattapan, was placed under arrest without incident. Officers recovered a loaded firearm, along with, 5 small plastic baggies containing a white powdery substance (believed to be cocaine), and 1 small plastic baggie containing a brown powdery substance (believed to be Heroin). The firearm was a High Point 9mm Luger, with 1 round in the chamber, and 7 rounds in the magazine.

The male juvenile was charged with the following: Delinquent to wit Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Delinquent to wit Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Delinquent to wit Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number, Delinquent to wit Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Delinquent to wit Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Drug, Delinquent to wit Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drug, and Minor in Possession of Alcohol.

The 17-year-old male juvenile will be arraigned in Dorchester Juvenile Court.
