ONE LESS GUN: At about 1:13 PM, on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, officers assigned to the Youth Violence Strike Force arrested a 16-year-old male from Roxbury on firearm related charges after a foot pursuit in the area of 192 Humboldt Avenue in Roxbury. The officers were conducting an investigation and were approaching to speak with the suspect as he exited a residence on Ruthven Street when he suddenly took off running while clutching at the waist band area of his pants. The officers pursued the suspect closely on foot and were able to place him in custody after a brief struggle in an open courtyard area between 192 and 194 Humboldt Avenue.
