ARRESTS MADE: At about 6:54 PM on Thursday July 4, 2019, officers assigned to District E-18 (Hyde Park) placed two suspects in custody after responding to a call for a person stabbed in the area of 1025 Truman Parkway in Hyde Park. On arrival, several parties on scene directed the officer’s attention to a suspect vehicle which was preparing to leave the parking lot. Officers immediately stopped the vehicle and removed both the operator, later identified as Elton Barbosa, 26, of Hyde Park, and the passenger, Gerson Moreno, 21, of Dorchester. Officers then continued their investigation and located an 18-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries which are considered to be non-life threatening in nature. Officers also located two other adult male victims who had been punched by the suspects and a third adult male victim who sustained a laceration during the incident. These three victims declined medical attention.
