BPD Homicide Detectives Seek Public’s Help in Death Investigation in the area of 868 Huntington Ave in Roxbury: At about 12:20am, on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to Brigham & Women's Hospital at 75 Francis Street in Roxbury to take a report relative to an elderly male, believed to be in his seventies, transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The victim, suffering serious head trauma, later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. BPD Homicide Investigators are asking for the public’s help if they have information regarding the victim’s injuries. Investigators believe the victim’s injuries may have been sustained in the area of 868 Huntington Ave in Roxbury between the hours of 8:00pm - 9:00pm on Tuesday, August 27, 2019.
