Please enjoy some phenomenal photos highlighting National Night Out 2019. National Night Out is a two-night, citywide celebration of crime prevention and neighborhood camaraderie in Boston. Earlier this week Mayor Martin J. Walsh, Commissioner William G. Gross and District Attorney Rachael Rollins visited neighborhoods around the city to thank community members for their ongoing support and backing of the men and women of the Boston Police Department —and made a point to recognize and honor some of the top Neighborhood Watch groups and community based organizations in their crime prevention successes.
The Boston Police Department’s ability to fight crime is directly related to the strength and energy of the powerful relationships that we have with those we’ve taken an oath to protect and serve. Thank you to the Boston Police Foundation and all who continue to support the Boston Police Department in our mission to reduce fear and improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods through community policing. Together we make our community safer!
