UPDATE: BPD Investigators Arrest Two Additional Suspects in Connection to Death Investigation in the area of 66 Humboldt Ave in Roxbury

 

Less than two weeks after the arrest of Dartanyan Pledger, 24, of Dorchester for the shooting death of Allex Bryant, 28, of Boston, today, Tuesday, September 6, 2016, members of the BPD’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit, US Marshal Service and law enforcement officers in Central Falls, RI located and arrested two additional suspects. Authorities apprehended Niccokawon Pledger-Grant, 26, of Quincy and Lisa Lewis, 24, of Quincy in Central Falls, Rhode Island. Pledger-Grant is charged with Murder while Lewis is charged with Accessory After the Fact.

Less than six months ago, on Monday, March 21, 2016, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 66 Humboldt Avenue. On arrival, officers observed a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, later identified as Allex Bryant, 28, of Boston, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Said Police Commissioner William Evans: “I want to acknowledge and commend my detectives for the dogged determination and around-the-clock efforts that lead to today’s arrests. Thanks to their perseverance, the suspects apprehended today are no longer in a position to hurt or harm in anyone else in our community. To the family of Allex Bryant, in addition to our heartfelt sympathies, it is my sincere hope that the news of today’s arrests brings with it some small measure of comfort and solace.”

 

UPDATE: Arrest Made in Connection to Death Investigation in the Area of 66 Humboldt

At about 3:05 AM on Monday, March 21, 2016, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 66 Humboldt Avenue.  On arrival, officers observed a male victim, who appeared to be in his twenties, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim was later identified as Allex Bryant, 28, of Boston.

On Thursday August 25, 2016, Dartanyan Pledger, 24, of Dorchester, was placed in custody by the U.S. Marshal Task Force in Atlanta Georgia and is charged with Murder.   

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating two additional suspects involved in this case who currently remain at large  Niccokowan Pledger-Grant, 26, of Quincy, (below left) is wanted for Murder and Lisa Lewis, 24, of Quincy, (below right) is wanted as an Accessory After the Fact.

On arrival, officers observed a male victim, who appeared to be in his twenties, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim has since been identified as Allex Bryant, 28, of Boston.

Death Investigation in the Area of 66 Humboldt Avenue, Roxbury

 

At about 3:05 AM on Monday, March 21, 2016, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 66 Humboldt Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers observed a male victim who appeared to be in his 20’s suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second male victim was located a short time later suffering from what appeared to be a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. That victim was transported to Boston Medical Center. Further investigation led officers to recover several firearms from the scene.
