Boston Police Gaelic Column Perform St. Paddy’s Day Concert for the Kids of the Franciscan Children’s Hospital in Brighton

Today, Thursday, March 17, 2016, members of the Boston Police Gaelic Column stopped by the Franciscan Children’s Hospital in Brighton to share their love of music with the kids and hospital staff in what has become an annual St. Paddy’s Day tradition for the band. As you can see in the photos, it’s almost too tough to tell who was having more fun … the kids or the band.  Said Sgt. Joe Cheevers, “This is easily one of the most important concerts we perform on St. Patrick’s Day. We love seeing the kids and the hospital staff and, for us, seeing the kids smiling, hearing our music, having fun and interacting with the band is what it’s all about. It’s our way of spreading a lil’ St. Paddy’s Day cheer to some wonderful kids and the people who care for them.”
