UPDATE: Victim Identified in Connection to Homicide in the area of 120 Huntington Ave in the South End

UPDATE: Victim Identified in Connection to Homicide in the area of 120 Huntington Ave in the South End: Yesterday, at about 10:58 AM, on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 120 Huntington Avenue in the South End. On arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim, suffering from life threatening injuries, was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. That victim has since been identified as Luckinson Oruma, 60, of Roxbury.   

While an arrest has been made in connection to the homicide, the Boston Police Department continues to actively review the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
